With a career working on proprietary computers in my early days, one that had me traveling all over North America and into England, spending (at times) 44 to 46 weeks a year away from home, I learned to talk with people from every section of life.

Moving into an information technology career helped me refine that ability.

When the day came for a discussion with my wife, Shelly, about my next career move, it changed everything. Now I work with thousands of people in more than 19 different countries around the world.

However, the biggest change in my life came in 2018 when, during a course of conversation with this guy named Bill Tarling, he mentioned that he thought I might be able to get a podcasting slot with Smoke Free Radio, run by Dimitris Agrafiotis. I asked, and 24 hours later, I was on my way. Now mind you, I had no idea what I was doing, or getting into. I had a good microphone from previous voice over work, and a tiny little mixer, and alot of ambition. I thought 'What's the worst that could happen?'

I'll tell anyone, here and now, if it were not for Bill Tarling taking hours of time to help me learn and refine what I was doing, I would have quit early on. However, I discovered something: I love doing podcasting and video podcasting shows. Now I am working with other talented people on two different shows and loving all the growing pains that come with it.

Yet I found I still wanted to do one more. One more show, but this time, just a podcast. It reminds me of the golden radio days, just a voice on the speaker, talking about the days events.

This is why "Pieces of Thinking" has come into being. In my travels, and my time over the last few years, I have met some very outstanding people. They cover so many aspects of life: a radio dj, a CEO, a politician, a retired Police Chief, an actor, the former Winston Man and so many more. Each of them have such an interesting background, such incredible stories of where they have been and things they have done. I want to talk with all of these people and let you hear, first hand, how they have managed success, how they overcame their personal hurdles along the way. I want you to hear what I heard: stories of inspiration, passion and determination.

Yet I also want to talk to you about topics on my own mind, things other people might shy away from. Things like the impact Wal-Mart is having on out society, or why it is so important to make sure your home is your castle. Metapysical things like manifestation or how our thoughts create our tomorrows. I even want to talk about groceries arriving at your front door.

This is my goal for Pieces of Thinking. I hope you'll join me in this journey, and together we might learn something new.
